Can you crane hire in the Sydney CBD without closing the street?+
Usually, yes. Our spider cranes set up on the site itself — inside a tenancy, in a loading dock, on the slab or over the back — rather than occupying the road. Where a footpath or laneway occupation is unavoidable, permits and traffic control come into play; we coordinate with the specialist crews who handle that. It keeps your building running and avoids the cost of a full road closure.
Do you do after-hours and weekend lifts in the city?+

Can your cranes work on a rooftop or suspended slab?+
Yes — though not by climbing there themselves. Spider cranes are compact and light enough to be lifted onto a deck by a larger crane during its window, or brought up by freight lift where dimensions allow. Once up, they track across the slab on mats, with structure loading checked in the lift plan before anything moves.
Do we need permits or traffic control for a city lift?+
Often, yes — footpath or laneway occupation in the CBD usually needs a permit and traffic management. That side sits with the builder or the specialist crews; we focus on the lift itself and supply the lift plan, SWMS and insurances. If you don't have traffic or permit people, we'll introduce you to the contacts we regularly work beside and sync the crane to their plan.
