Crane Hire Woy Woy

The Peninsula · Woy Woy

Crane hire Woy Woy — one road in, no room to move.

The Peninsula is its own little world: flat reclaimed ground that goes soft, fibro cottages turning into new homes street by street, and one main road carrying everything in and out. A big mobile crane hates every part of that. Our compact tracked Maedas were built for it — part of our crane hire Central Coast service, run from The Entrance depot.

What the Peninsula calls us for

Everything here happens on tight flat blocks a stone’s throw from the water — four jobs fill the book.

Fibro-to-forever rebuilds

The old cottages are coming down and proper homes are going up on the same narrow blocks. Trusses, wall frames and steel placed from the street with a mini crane that fits where the truck cranes simply don’t.

Granny flats everywhere

The Peninsula’s flat blocks make it granny-flat heaven — and every build needs materials over or around the main house. Our pick and carry crew walks loads down the side through a 780 mm gap.

Waterside cottages & wharf-side blocks

Booker Bay, Blackwall and the bay streets sit right on the tide line, on ground that never really firms up. Rubber-tracked crawler cranes and outrigger mats make soft ground a non-event.

Glass, spas & renovations

View glass into Ettalong and Pearl Beach homes on vacuum, spas over cottage roofs, decks and renos — small-footprint lifts done neatly with the glass lifter when the panels get serious.

Local knowledge that saves you money

We plan the road in

One main road feeds the whole Peninsula, and it jams at school run and summer weekends. We time arrivals around it and plan oversize movements properly, so the crane isn’t burning your budget in traffic.

Soft ground is assumed

Reclaimed, sandy, high water table — Peninsula ground swallows wheeled machines. We arrive assuming soft ground: tracks, mats and timbers as standard, no surprise variations on the day.

Streets built for another era

Narrow carriageways, low wires and cars both sides. One truck, a parking-bay footprint and a boom path planned around the powerlines keeps the street open and the neighbours calm.

Local run, honest quote

We come across from The Entrance depot — about half an hour, quoted straight. No Sydney float, no hidden mobilisation, and every price fixed in writing before you book.

Woy Woy questions

How much does crane hire cost in Woy Woy?

From $195–$205 per hour with a ticketed operator included, depending on the machine and access, with a 6-hour site minimum. The tracked carrier adds a flat $800/day when loads need moving across site. The Peninsula is a local run from The Entrance — no Sydney mobilisation — and every price is fixed in writing before you book.

Is the soft Peninsula ground a problem for a crane?

Not for ours. We arrive assuming soft, sandy, high-water-table ground — rubber tracks, low ground pressure, outrigger mats and timbers as standard. It’s the wheeled cranes that get stuck out here, not us.

Can you lift materials for a granny flat build?

All the time — it’s the Peninsula’s favourite build. Frames, trusses, roofing and bathroom pods go over or around the main house, or down the side on the carrier through gaps as tight as 780 mm.

Our street is really narrow — will you fit?

Yes. Everything arrives on one truck and the crane sets up inside a parking-bay footprint, with the boom path planned around the low wires before we arrive. Most lifts run without closing the street.

How fast can you get here with only one road in?

About thirty minutes from The Entrance depot — and because we’re local we know exactly when Woy Woy Road jams and plan around it. Urgent and weekend lifts are genuinely possible.

How do I get an exact price?

Text a photo of the load, the block and the access to 0434 242 777, or use the instant estimator. We’ll confirm machine, price and the next free slot — usually the same day.
