Home ground · Parramatta + Western Sydney
Crane hire Parramatta — from the crew that carries the name.
The depot is at Rydalmere, minutes from the Parramatta CBD — this is the home ground of our whole crane hire Sydney operation. Third-generation lifting through the tightest streets in the west: terrace rows in North Parramatta, tower work on Church Street, the Westmead health precinct, and every duplex block in between.
What Parramatta calls us for
The home patch has every kind of lift — these four fill most of the calendar.
A/C plant, glass sets and balcony materials into occupied buildings — loading-dock windows, building managers, after-hours slots. Compact cranes mean most jobs run without a road occupancy licence.
North Parramatta and Harris Park run narrow frontages with no side access at all. We lift over the roofline from the street, or run the pick and carry relay through a 780 mm gap when the wires say no.
Plant upgrades and equipment moves around hospitals demand induction paperwork, tight windows and zero drama — our SWMS and lift plans are pre-built for it, twelve minutes from the depot.
The knockdown-rebuild wave through Ermington, Dundas and Oatlands is classic spider-crane work: steel, trusses and spas placed over the house from the kerb. Both Maedas are mini crawler cranes, so soft or unfinished ground is fine.
Why local actually matters
Most crane quotes in Sydney hide an hour of travel each way. Parramatta jobs leave our gate and arrive inside fifteen minutes — that money goes into the lift, not the truck.
When another crane no-shows or the delivery lands early, being ten minutes away means we can often pull a machine across the same day. It happens more than you’d think.
Light-rail corridor clearances, Church Street’s dock quirks, which North Parramatta laneways dead-end — the site check often happens from memory before we even drive past.
We put the suburb on the trucks. Every lift in the home postcode is a referral we either earn or lose — that’s why the reviews keep saying “on time, no surprises”.
Parramatta rates
All rates + GST with a 6-hour site minimum that covers setup and pack-down. Glassboy vacuum lifter adds a flat $400 for glass work. Parramatta is our home postcode — travel from Rydalmere barely registers on the quote. Fixed price in writing before you book.

Parramatta questions
How much does crane hire cost in Parramatta?
From $195–$205 per hour with a ticketed operator included, depending on the machine and access, with a 6-hour site minimum. Being based at Rydalmere means Parramatta jobs carry next to no travel cost — and every quote is fixed in writing before you book.
How quickly can you get to a Parramatta site?
The depot is around 8 minutes from the CBD, and we run 24/7. For urgent lifts — a no-show crane, an early delivery — call us and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can pull a machine across today.
Can you lift into a terrace or heritage street with no side access?
Yes — that’s the home-ground speciality. We set up on the street or driveway and lift over the roofline, or track loads through gaps as narrow as 780 mm with the carrier when powerlines rule out the front approach.
Do you work on occupied CBD buildings?
Constantly. After-hours windows, loading-dock coordination, building-manager sign-offs and pre-built SWMS — A/C plant, glass and balcony materials are the usual loads along Church Street and the river end of town.
Is a spider crane enough for my job, or do I need something bigger?
Up to 2.98 t and 12.5 m of hook height covers most residential and commercial lifts — steel, spas, glass, plant. If your load is genuinely beyond us, we’ll say so on the first call and point you to the right machine instead of wasting your day.
Do you handle the Westmead hospital precinct?
Yes — it’s twelve minutes away and we’re set up for induction paperwork, tight delivery windows and controlled sites. Plant upgrades and equipment moves are the common calls.
