How much does crane hire cost in Terrigal?
From $195–$205 per hour with a ticketed operator included, depending on the machine and access, with a 6-hour site minimum. Glass work adds a flat $400 for the vacuum lifter. We’re based locally at The Entrance, so there’s no Sydney mobilisation — and every price is fixed in writing before you book.
Can you lift a glass wall into a view home?
That’s the Terrigal speciality. Panels to 600 kg go up on vacuum, over the roof from the street, rotated and tilted into the opening. Send the panel size and a photo of the house and we’ll confirm the arc before you book.
Our street is steep and narrow — can you even set up?
Yes. The crane arrives on one truck, tracks off, climbs the drive and sets up on outriggers in a single parking bay. The steep backstreets behind the beach are our normal working ground.
What about parking and access on the esplanade side?
Most lifts run from one parking bay without a road closure. Where a bay reservation or council permission is needed, we sort it as part of the quote so it never lands on you the morning of the lift.
What happens if the wind comes up?
We plan glass and panel lifts for still windows — usually early morning — and being local means we can shift a booking to catch the weather rather than cancel the day. You’ll never pay for a lift the wind refused.
